Interchange aims to provide a safe and supportive
environment in which a genuine relationship between a volunteer
and a child or young person with a disability can develop.
To
foster the rights and needs of young people with disabilities
to form friendships, share in new experiences and participate
in community based social and recreational activities.
To strengthen and support families caring
for children with disabilities through the provision of regular
respite.
