The Teen Companion Program
The Great Break Program
 
  • Hosts agree to provide regular weekend, day or overnight care for a maximum of 2 days a month in their own home.
  • Hosts participate in an assessment interview with an Interchange social worker.
  • Hosts are required to complete a police check form and supply names of two referees.
  • All prospective hosts are required to attend two information sessions, which focus on issues relating to hosting a child with an intellectual disability.

    Social worker will provide ongoing support and encouragement.
